Injector Dead Time causing a bad idle

Post by Snickershook »

PTE / Delphi 680 -29 300 Modified GM Rochester 17113814 injector. Actual flow: 640cc

These are the injectors that I have. I want to change the dead time to match these injectors in s300.

My setup is GSR with a skunk 2 intake manifold, these FIC injectors and omni 4 bar map sensor, Precision inter-cooler, Precision 50 trim, Walbro 255 on a stock fuel pressure regulator. I am going through and selecting my base stuff to tune off of.

I have chosen the stock type R map due to the intake manifold
I have gone in and selected 680cc injectors along with view 4 bar boost map with omni 4 bar map sensor.

I have fed stock oxygen sensor wire that analog output of an LC1(the one that simulates a stock oxygen sensor.) so I have no normal oxygen sensor.

My car runs very well right off the bad although I have to add almost 30 percent during idling for it to be at 14.7. I can't add it to the whole map which I thought would make sense because when I do and drive the car while in boost the car drops into the 9.1 air fuel ratio.

If I set all my sensors as stated above the car runs great except for idling. So I'm assuming my dead time is my issue.

Any suggestions would be good

What dead time values are you using?
