K20Z with RC750, car won't start

Post by Kasander »

I'm fairly new to Hondata but I've saw alot of post and I did the right change to at least get the car started.

I went in Fuel trim and changed the injector size to 750cc.
I know the car might idle weird or die but it should at least start, it doesn't.

I tried to datalog the startup process and I see the IDC going to 2%, INJ slowly decrease in MS but the weird part is we have random IGN and it's only a brief spike of 5 degree.

I've saw a description of the car "Startup process" in the FlashPro help there:http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/in ... g_fuel.htm

They say the car should go for a fixed ignition of 5 or 7 degree but their timing line is flast until the car start a few ms later but in our case it's only a spike to 5 degree and 0 right after. The spike is random, we don't see the 5 degree every attempt.

Any idea what might be the problem and is the starting process the same (I guess it should)?

Note that the car got a supercharged and ran fine before the injector swap.

Thanks!
