MY KPRO WONT COMMUNICATE WITH LAPTOP HELP!!!

Post by bernabeguzman2 »

I CANNOT GET MY LAPTOP TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY ECU. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING FROM RECOVERING MY LAPTOP TO DISCONNECTING MY ECU FOR MORE THAN 10MIN THINKING IT WOULD RESET IT. IVE ALSO TRIED DIFFERENT LAPTOPS AND WHAT IT SAYS ON THE LAPTOP IS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE DRIVER, USUALLY IT WOULD SAY NEW HARDWARE FOUND KPRO ECU. I TOOK THE COVER OFF THE ECU AND WHEN I CONNECT THE ECU TO THE LAPTOP WITH DATALINK CABLE(ALSO TRIED 3 DIFFERENT DATALINK CABLES)THE GREEN LIGHT IS ON AND THE RED LIGHT DOES A QUIK FLASH BUT THEN STAYS OFF. ACCORDING TO HONDATA WHEN CONNECTED TO THE ECU THE RED LIGHT SHOULD FLASH. I DID NOT INSTALL ANYTHING NEW AND IT JUST DID THIS FROM ONE DAY TO ANOTHER. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS COME ACROSS THIS PROBLEM.

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED THANKS IN ADVANCE. :D

On the windows device manager it says Driver Error. It has a picture of a hard drive with a X on it.

Hondata is still stock on the last tune I had I cannot connect to any laptop. The laptop says isb port error. there is a redlight on the ecu that should be blinking but it only flashes once when I connect it. The green light stays on all the time which is normal
