Shift light change

Post by Team KLR »

I can't find where it tells me how to change the shift light engagement. I think that this is why the CEL light is on on the dash. The light stays on but there are no other problems with datalogging or emulating. I read in the fourm archives that this problem could be due to the shift light being set really low, like at 83 rpm's.

Thanks,

You can change the shift light engagement point in Hondalogger under the ECU tab.

Are you connected to the ecu with the romulator? When i tune customers cars (anyone for that matter) with the romulator hooked up I get a steady CEL. Once the romulator is removed and the chip is burnt the light goes away. I have learned to ignore it for the past year or so.

I will check the shift light engaugement point and see if that is what the problem might be. If that is not it then I will chalk it up to the same issues that you are running into Boosted... Thank you for the help.

Hey Boosted....

As soon as I burned the customer's chip and installed it with his S200 box, the cel went off. Thanks for the advice.
