Realtime changes won't work, have to stop car and UL map

00' Integra LS turbocharged. S200 p28 / emulating.

I do have "realtime enabled" the romulator uploads the maps just fine to the ecu but it does not seem to work when I just make changes.

When are the changes supposed to be registered by the ECU? Is it right when you make the changes to the tables? or is it when you "set as base"?
Or is it some other time. I have not found where it says just when the "realtime" happens.
