Hondata

Post by I AM(sss_geoffrey) »

Hi there,

I'm from Singapore. I'm driving Civic EK4 auto B16A year make 98. I'm reluctant to convert my car from auto to manual but I'm looking for maximun performance on my ride.

So can this hondata ECU fit my ride? which one should I go for. I understand that my original ECU has 4 harness and manual Ecu has three. My ECU do control my auto gearing change, correct me if I'm wrong. I dun noe about machine.

Please help. Thanks

Cheers

Hey man,

I am in the process of installing a stage 2b onto a 99' Integra LS B18B automatic transmission. The car is turbocharged and will be retaining the auto trans. Matt from Hondata told me that I will need to do the obd2 to obd1 conversion with the harness and not the ecu with the plug on it. This is due to the fact that I will have to swap some wires around on the harness to make the torque converter lock up correctly. I will post any info that I find that might help you out and please do the same for me.
