Rich at low load and light throttle help

Post by Tsuchinoko »

Hello,

I have a issue, i have my map tuned, the car is running very very good BUT sometimes at a very little throttle the afr reads very rich.
The first column is tuned for about ~13,8 - 14,2 and it reads ~11,8 - 12,4 sometimes richer that this, sending the traditional sound by the exhaust pop pop pop.

I think is something about with the TPS, by the moment my readings are:

Fully closed: -1,33%
Fully open: 100,36%

I have the overrun fuel cut at: 0,5%
And the delay at: 300ms

The map table is stock.

I don't know if the injectors are not stopping supplying fuel or something like that...

This issue started after i upgrade to the beta version 1.4.7 but i already made a test with the 1.4.4.1 version and the issue still and then i returned to the 1.4.7 beta version.

This is happening with about ~8% of throttle and in ~2800-3000rpm.

I already tried took some fuel in that cells but the issue continues.

Should i take some degrees in the ignition columns to see what happens?

Somebody have a clue what is going on?

I'm using innovate.

BTW yesterday i read the throttle position again and some strange readings was shewed was like 20% fully closed and 60% fully open, i tried to do a couple more time and the values was always this strange. After that i disconnect the tps sensor, the plug was a bit tight i took it off and with the blower i cleaned the plug. I made the readings again and they was ok like -1.22% FC and 100.36% FO. Put the car running and went for a test run and the AFR was perfect like the way i tuned for.

Does a bad TPS can cause this symptom???

Thanks

I would recommend replacing the TPS as it sounds like it is the source of your problems.
