PWM Boost control Wiring

Post by blacksi76 »

I have a 2000 canadian civic SI with a fully built H22 turbo setup with a brand new Hondata prepared P28 ECU with an S300 installed with a built in OBD2B Conversion Plug...I just installed my Hondata electronic boost control solenoid....my harness is OBD2B and it sais on the smanager help section to use Pin B7 on the harness side for boost control as opposed to pin A11 ( EGR ) on the OBD1 ECU...I even called Hondata to confirm that the pin on my harness to install it was indeed Pin B7 ( ESOL which means exhaust gas relief solenoid ).......here was my problem, on my harness, there was NO pin in the B7 plug, it was an empty slot, every other wire checked out to be correct in where they were and what funtion they had SO I took an old conversion harness and removed a pin and wire from the female side and Inserted it into slot B7 on the harness side and attached it to the PWM boost control wire....the plug fit perfectly, I have yet to test it to see if its working.....can I get some advise on this??? has anyone else had this problem??

If your harness does not have this pinned, then you will have to add the pin.

Thanks, thats exactly what I did, I used a pin from an old conversion harness...added it to my existing harness and ran the wire to the PWM Boost control solenoid....The Plug fit fine into the ECU so I am hoping it worked...thanks....
