for those of you that dont know what a d17a2 is.. its the 2001-2003 civic ex

At the moment there are no plans to do this ECU.

if there was enough intrest in it would you consider it? also, would it be possible to use a d16 ecu on a d17?

im interested in an ECU for the d17a1 (2001+ civic lx). have your plans to make one changed yet?

I am also VERY interested. Please let us know. I know there are hundreds of guys over at 7thgencivic.com that would like to see it happen.

If the K20 programmable ECU can be configured for ON/OFF Vtec, there's a good chance it could be used for a D17 application. I've asked the above question elsewhere, but I've not yet got an answer.

well the problem is that the k20 is configured for I-VTEC, so it will not work with the a2's fuelmap/vtec configureation

I am very very intersted in a ECU for my 7thgen civic ex (D17a2). Please come out with a chip for us. Is it that much different from the d16 chip? Please reconsider Hondata. Peace.

Someone with a d17a2 is using a s200 hondata unit....
He says it works fine....only conflict was with his VAFC2

I posed this question as well on the 7thgencivic forums - the D17 and K series ECUs are similar (heck, the wiring harnesses are almost identical if you look at the pinouts). Heck, most of the sensors that Honda use are similar - and if this is a truly reprogrammable ECU than I'd venture a guess that there's a good chance for it to work...Care to chime in moderator?[/code]
