DC5 Dyno Map/Results/.Kal file opinions??

Post by TypeRItr »

Hey i got my Kpro mapped. I know there are experts on here so would you mind giving me opinions on this?

I think the Overall power is good, the bit every body seems to question is the Dip in power at the Vtec turn point. I am not very technically minded so do not fully understand the workings, however going from comments on other forums i said i would let the people who know decide.

My mods are: GruppemM Ram air intake -> RBC intake manifold -> Hondata heat shield gasket -> Spoon 4:2 Exhaust manifold -> Original OEM Cat -> Toda Cat back exhaust.

So my question is this dip in power normal / expected? I have read on the how to tune technical part of this site that a dip in power can be expected. But i have seen loads of maps where there is no dip it is a smooth curve. Should this be the case? Or is my map as good as can be on the car?

Here is the .kal file

Thanks in advance for any advice

Your VTEC point may be too high, try lowering it and see if the dip goes away.
