After owning this S300 for ~2 years and not putting it to any serious use, I have decided to part ways with it. I was wondering if there was any differences between this unit and the current ones?
Someone on a webforum PM'd me in regards to something called "PWM boost solenoid" as an option to Hondata. He claims that the newer Hondata's come with a solenoid for modern EBC's as apart of the package from Hondata. I looked on the Hondata website and didn't see anything mentioned about it so I'm here wondering if my unit is outdated or if this guy's trying to pull one over on me. :(
Hondata S300 hardware/software question
The guy is wrong. All S300's do the same thing. You can add PWM boost control to the ecu by adding a few components and picking up a solenoid, the newer s300's do not come with anything that the older ones didnt.

Is there a way to check if the PWM function is present or not? I looked on the circuitboard and it did appear that there are some solders that don't look like the OEM solders. Perhaps a serial number check?
I looked into it some more, the foreign looking solders were on the empty circuits I believe (if I'm looking at A10 right for a P72)
