Oil Pressure Switch

I'm in the process of adding an electric oil pressure gauge to my K20 and would like to get rid of the stock oil pressure switch that controls the light on the dash. By not reinstalling the stock switch and leaving it unplugged will that cause any conflicts with the kpro, loss in power or idle issues???

No. (The switch only closes when it sees low pressure, so in a normal situation it's open - meaning like it's not there.)
