Hello,
I have been doing some researches and asking couple of friends.
I still need some of the expertise opinions...
I am getting a K20a engine (accord type r) installed on my 2007 Civic Si.
Will the flashpro do the job of altering the same parameters if I had the stock engine on?
Thank you guys.

engine broken apart.. need an advise on what to do.
Thanks dude... Well I am attaching couple of picture of what happened to my engine. I was on third gear getting ready to shit to 4th at 8200 RPM; my eyes then was at the tachmoeter, and I have noticed the RMP needle going past 8300 as I was going downhill the tunnel.. Just a fraction of a second before shifting to 4th I heard a crack and the oil led popped out. I stopped the car; towed it to the workshop. Had to change the whole engine. I put an 2007 CRV. I still have the head of my Si (picture included ---- Please advise if it is can still be used)
I couldnt do anything about it except for what I did as the car is not located anymore in the US.
The chassis itself of my Si wasnt altered however they had to widen the bolts on to fit the opening of my chassis.
I have few options.. either an accord type r engine.. or a k20 head on current k24 block (which will need a lot of work to get it working)
I have been following it up with my friends and still can take more advises from expert people.
Also please confirm about using the flashpro on whatever changes is possible.
Thank you.

Any idea where we can find a definite answer? I mean if he uses RSX engine mounts it should work right, provided a k24 block fits using a CRV engine mount, is it okay for me to assume that a k20a will fit using an RSX mount? I'm sorry for asking this, but we cannot find a definite answer and we know how knowledgeable you guys are regarding these engines.Spunkster wrote:It should, but I do not know if the engine will bolt into that chassis the same way.
