Decrease your fuel pressure psi to 40psi that's your problem.

i have adjusted it all the way down to 36 psi, still runs rich i am going to put new 02 sensor in it, i looked at the data it seams even at af of .81 the o2 sensor was showing voltage variation as low as 0.1 and as high as 1.2

i think its messed
as well new plugs and wires i think the plug might be fouled because of prolonged runnig rich

so updated , fp down to 39 psi

new plug and wires, changed o2 sensor,

still can't get af above .81

even changed fuel table 5%, o2 sensor in open loop read 1 v pretty much all the time

any sugestions, any wiring that could cause this?

last thing i can try is changing injectors, could they be stuck on full

without a wideband you cannot properly tune the AF ratios or know if you are rich or lean.

i am not looking to tune the car i just want the raw fuel to stop coming out the back end along with the big clouds of black smoke,

12mpg not good,

there is no sense on taking the thing to the tuners if there is a problem

or unless his tuning solution is to take 25% off all my fuel tables

You cannot know how much fuel to take out without a wideband.

i don't want to take any fuel out,

i just think that your stock map should run without dumping raw fuel out the exhaust, i think i have a problem that can not be addressed tuning alone

what i need is some ideas why this is happening,

its obviously over fueling

i have gone through the entire fuel system from tank to injector and i have gone through all the vaccum lines

i am at a loss, could retared ignition time causing it this , or is there a wiring issue that could cause this

so i got pretty pissed off, ripped out the entire intake, all i can is be carefull when you buy someone elses swap

looks like edward scissor hands put the vacuum and heating lines on the car. the one that goes to the iacv was pinched between the intake and braket ( i mean pinched flat) who knew there were so many lines you can't see under the intake

so i amgoing to redo the entire intake,

solved

Post by aavery »

so i found the two problems, first ignition wow the same guy who did the vacuum lines did the dizzy, second the covering that goes over the wires on the o2 sensor shimmed up once i slide the cover back down i started getting normal reading,

plx wideband should be here next week then its off to the tuner

moral of the story, check insulting cover on wire ( it has a big effect )
