convert cc1000 to cc880

Post by Bubleguy »

Hi,
i've taken (at my own risk ;p) map calibration (from the sticky calibration page in this forum) that match totally with my built except the injector size.
In the map, it is 1000cc and mine are 880. I don't find a way to just convert these data in smanager.

When i was using Chrome (before i bought a s300 with smanager), there was a convertion system. I was expected that Smanager could do the same.

Can someone tell me if it is possible to convert fuel injector size in Smanager? and where can i find it?

Thanks a lot.
Best regards

you don't need to convert anything. Just enter your injector size in place of the 1000 and go get tuned.
thank you, thank you, I'm here all week

Thanks for the reply.
So if i understood well, using your reply and the Smanager FuelTrim info(http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/in ... eltrim.htm) i should replace the 1000 value in the "current injector size" box by my 880 value right? and where is the apply button? because if i just change the value i don't see the fuel tables changing, it should be a way to apply the changes no?

Hmm......u dont happen to own a Hseries do u?

Yes,change 'current inj size to 880'
make sure 'stock inj size' is roughly correct.

U wont see changes to the fuel tables, the Fuel Trim(Info) tab is all fuel 'multipliers'.
The values are applied to the whole fuel table/s on its way thru to your injector outputs.

Nothing to confirm,just set value/s & upload.

sry i did a mistake in my preivous post,
i meant :
"... because if i just change the value i don't see the ""DUTY CYCLE"" table changing..."
if i decrease the injector size to 880, i am expecting an increase of the injecting time to have the same value in fuel tables, so the duty cycle table should change. no?

anyway thanks for your reply, they helped me how to use Smanager

Do u mean,

-your actual datalogged duty cycle that your seeing when the car is running hasn't changed or,

-the duty cycle figures on the 'estimated duty cycle table' arent changing?

if its the estimated duty cycle table your talking about, then it doesnt refresh instantly when u change the fuel trim figures, if u just switch to another fuel or ignition table & then back again, then u will see updated duty cycle figures.

Just remember, they are 'ESTIMATED' duty cycle figures......dont rely on them, there are other factors that are not taken into consideration, but at least u can see some rough figures.

Actually,

i am still working on my car, fixing new item(clucth, bore and such) that i've recently bought.

I downloaded the calibration from the website and try to play with it on my computer (desktop), so the map hasn't been put in the car yet.

As I said before, i was using Chrome, and now i am trying to know how Smanager works, testing how to convert datas, increasing and decreasing values and such...

So that, i was just wondering myself when i was changing the injector size to 880cc and not seeing duty cycle changing... and so, i thought there was an "apply" button somewhere ;)
