detonation

wat are the causes and how can i remove detonation? i've already tried to enrich the mixture and retard the ignition but its still wont go away.. please help...

my mods are,
t3/t4 turbo
rc 550cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
sx fuel reg
spearco intercooler
turbonetics wastegate
turboxs type h-rfl
Hondata stage 3B

How much boost you run and with what compression ratio? YOu might need to decrease one or both of these. Retarding ignition and enriching the mixture cannot guarantee in any case that detonation disappears. Also keep in mind that retarding ignition on a turbocharged engine, increases exhaust gas temperature. Be careful.

If nothing helps, run a higher octane fuel.

how much have you retarded your timing? if possible run a higher octane fuel. If the problem persists come back and we'll help you out.

Have you had your car tuned with the hondata?
