ecu?

ok im new to this will a integra ecu obd2 plug up and work on a 97 civic ex?? it is a d16y8 any help would be great no one else knows i hope you all do. am just lookin to up the rev limiter from my 7000 so i can run a biger cam and get full use of it i will then go hondata

Even if it would plug up (which it very well might) you'd be using fuel and timing maps that are calibrated for a 1.8L engine, when you're running a 1.6L engine. And that's just the most obvious problem.

Bottom line, no, you can't do such a swap.
