hondata and 2001 accord

I have the 2.3l f23 non vtec I have seen this applications page

I am wondering why is running s300 not supported by hondata? has it not yet been tested? does the non functional gauge really matter that much?

I would like as much information on the subject as possible

-2000-2002 Accords with 3 wire idle valves will need to replace or re-wire the idle valve.
-2000-2002 Accords will no longer have a functional temp gauge.
-Using a Hondata system on a 2000-2002 Accord as done at the user's discretion is not supported by Hondata.

It is not supported because we cannot help with the issues assosiated with the changes that have to be made. Having a working temp gauge is important so you can tell before it is too late if you are overheating if there is some kind of problem.

I was hoping for your reply sweet!
suppose that I figure out some way to make everything work 100% or put an aftermarket temp gauge in? would I be able to get any assistance if needed? is there any known infornation possibly important that can be shared on s300 f23 compatability?
