injector dead times

Post by traction issuez »

i was looking at these two tables

http://injector-rehab.com/kbse/lag.htm
http://www.injectordynamics.com/ID2000data.jpg

I was wondering, why the injector dynamics are whole numbers, ie 1000, 1500, 16000 while the injector rehab website shows mainly everything under 2.0?

I'm just trying get the understand on how to input deadtimes on the Hondata because I'm going to AFR tune it with my current rc1000 and eventually go ID2000s. I see that in the help file for hondata, it too uses decimals - so is there a math equation I'm going have to use when I input the ID2000s information?

Thanks!

A little honda 4-banger with 2000's????
Whats your set-up Mike?
Must be a MONSTER,no wonder u got traction issuez.

U might wanna upgrade your little honda fuel tank as well or u wont make it to end of even one pass lol....

The math is simple,

-the Smanager & inj-rehab figures are in msec(milliseconds).
-the inj-dynamics figures are in usec(microseconds).

1msec = 1000usec

so just divide the inj-dynamics usec figures by 1000(move the decimal point 3 places to the left) to give u msec figures & enter those numbers in Smanager.
