Flash Pro Datalog Questions

Post by BV1 »

Why does the FlashPro datalog 5x faster then the ECU buffers?

This creates log files that are HUGE... and uneccessary load and export times.

Heres a screenshot:

You can clearly see the buffers not being updated for 5-6 frames. Just curious if theres a purpose to this.

Also for the Lamba Overlay fuel adjust %'s... are these calculated from a sumation of STFT's or from a calculated difference from logged AFR vs "ideal AFR" for a given table data point?

Thanks,

Steve

I was kind of wondering about this as well. I have to be careful with my datalogging to make sure the file doesn't get too large. Otherwise it'll overload my pagefile while I'm trying to upload it to my computer, basically freezing my computer.

Same, mine will freeze as well. Also, when exporting the file, if it IS successful (after 5 mins).. it will not load into Excel (.csv). Error about the file being too large.

This happens to anything over about 30 mins.

Does reducing the Datalog Rate setting help?
