fuel pulsation dampener

I recently had 550 injectors installed, and when I got the car back I noticed that the plastic cap on the pulsation dampener was missing, is this ok?

Also when the car warms up I get a small vacuum leak Ive noticed this only after the injectors were installed any ideas appreciated.

The plastic cover should not matter. If you have a vacuum leak, the best thing to do is check anything you have recently changed.
