Resistor 136 , 138

Post by PR8urvtec »

How do I know when I need to clip these two resistors? I read that you have to do this in some ECUs. I have an Integra LS pr4 US ECU. I have hooked my wideband up to S300 but I am getting a voltage difference. I have tried a lot of troubleshooting. The only two things I can think of now is that I need to ground the wideband unit to the thermostate ground and or the resistors are the problem. I opened my ECU to take a look at which resistors I need to cut and I only have a 136, 137 resistor and the 138 space in blank. Does this mean that I don't need to cut it? Or, do I just have to cut 136 resistor?

there is no specific list, if your having a problem getting your readings to match. cut the resistors.

I got it worked out with out cutting. I was just curious b/c my ECU only had 1 resistor of the two that were said to be cut.
