- a specific description of the problem
When I connect my laptop(WIndows 7) to my flashpro and try to datalog/record with my FlashPro manager, it will datalog/record for a few second. Then it stops. The USB red light on the flashpro box goes off. I'll have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back to get the red light turn on and everything works again until I try datalog/record. Somtimes, my FlashPro manager will be laggy after it fail to datalog. However, if I just use the button on the FlashPro box, it will record the datalong. I've tried to use my girl friend's Vista Laptop. Same thing.

Stock spark plug. Here are the mods on my car: CT-engineering intake, Vibrant Race Header w/ HFC, Apexi Noir Cat-back, NON-Stop Tunning light weight pulley kit, Hondata intake manifold gasket, P2R throttle body spacer and gasket, Innovative engine mount kit and Buddy Club Ground Kit. In my opinion, this problem is related to the FlashPro Console. I've tried 3 different laptops with windows xp, Vista and windows 7. When I try to datalog on the manager, it seems to be timed out or something..Spunkster wrote:What spark plugs are you using, and what exactly has ben done to the car?

Try just datalogging in a different car. You do not need to unlock or return to stock to do this.
More than likely you have done something with the grounds or you have picked up some interference form all the extra grounds you have run. Try removing the grounding kit. Make sure that using the Mount kit you have not eliminated a grounding path from the OEM wires.

I wish I could do that. I'm the only one drive the current SI among the people I know. How about I send you the console so you guys can take a look at it. I don't see how my ground kit or innovative mount have anything to do with this. and remember..I am still able to do datalog/record if I press the button on the console...just not able to do that with my laptop/laptops that I've tired.Spunkster wrote:Try just datalogging in a different car.
