noob question

Post by newsoltsc »

Ok, I have stock 240cc injectors and I want to replace them with some 550cc injectors I have.

In s300 all I have to do is change the current injector size in Parameters> Fuel Trim right?

Will it run fine like a basemap, or will it spit too much fuel into the motor?

Reason why I want to replace them is because when I installed the turbo I setup an FMU (this was done before I bought the s300), and it's currently running with the 240cc injectors and the FMU with the s300.
All I did was copy the last fuel column and put them in the boost column and it runs fine.
I do realize I'll have to change the fuel tables in boost, that is fine.

Thanks,
-Jose

It will need to be properly tuned with the new larger injectors. Different sized injecotrs have different flow characteristics and also different voltage vs. dead time compansations.
