having trouble getting emulator to connect to the laptop... and when we run datalogging it comes up with a bunch of erroe every second.. like 5 or so.... we are using a USB to serial adapter... should we get a rs232 serial ocmcia card?? could that be the problem??

Try increasing the allowable errors per second.

yeh we did that.. and it works... the problem is that the emulator will not connect

Make sure you have the correct port.

hahah thanks guys..i did all the idiot things... and it still wouldnt connect.. i called hondata and they suggested to get a Keyspan USBtoSerial adapter...well it works/connects fine... NOW the problem we have is that i cannot get the rom editor(emulator) AND THE datalogging to connect at the same time..ughhh fuk DEREK where are you>>> hahah

Connect the Romulator thru the Keyspan USB adapter and datalog directly thru the serial port. Make sure you select different comm ports for both. Try to get into your device manager thru your settings to see which port does what to figure you the port you will be using accordingly.
