strange datalog graph issue

When i load a datalog file and open the graph to look at the plots everything i set in the graph template plots a nice line except for map. On every computer ive ever had hondata on it always shows the map line as a almost flat looking line that hugs the bottom of the graph.

what can i do to get the map line to plot readable against rpm?

what are your settings in options/sensors/MAP?

what are unit & display(min & max) values?

it was set to 0 min and 100 max but i changed it to -30 min and 30 max

that made the line move to the middle of the graph but its still shows no real plot its almost just a straight line ill post a screen shot in a sec

here you can see a map vs rpm plot on a car running roughly 10 psi and it looks almost like it stays at one pressure all the way across unless you drag the mouse along the line to see the actual pressure.

yeh,i could never understand that inch/psi unit either...
i think u have to set it to min 0 & max 1 to make it read right,try that.
im an atmo boy,sorry cant try it for u.

otherwise just set the units(options/sensors/MAP) to mbar,kPa or psi & be done with it.
just subtract atmospheric pressure from whatever your seeing & u can determine your boost from there(atmo = about 100kPa/1 Bar/14.7 psi/1000mbar depending where u live),but u prob know that anyway.

theres no such thing as vacuum anyway,start thinking the way we conceive the universe to actually exist at this point in time,with only positive pressure.
till NASA decides to plunge into the nearest black hole & find there is something we can truely call vacuum....

Thank you for the help, i played with it and found that min 0 and max 3 shows the closest accurate looking scale to compare map vs rpm for me.

The car im currently working on has a cast manifold and im wanting to compare a spool plot before and after i smooth out the ports in the manifold of all the casting slag to see if there is any noticeable difference.
