tuning problems!!
It shouldnt change the number on the PLX it should change it in the Hondata. Have you checked your wiring?Japhatch wrote:not yet..just got the car running again today.. had to hunt down a starter.
anyway, at idle im seeing 12.2 on the PLX, and 14.7 on hondata.
ive tried changeing the volts 0 .2 .3 .4, it doesnt seem to change the number on the PLX.
but ill try a new map, see if that does anything.
Well i recommend the WB wire to the ELD pin in the ecu harness. Also the analog ground from the wideband box to the ecu ground, the analog ground is the bottom left pin on the white 4 pin connector on the PLX box. disable ELD in Smanager after soldering wb in there, and make sure it says wb is on ELD then change your offsets.

I have been running my DSM's for over a year no problems. seen plenty of people running them in Hondata systems no problems. they are not good as RC's in any way but they are cheap and alot of people have them in honda communities.
I cant find the post on Honda Tech anymore spunk that was like 20 pages long of why hondata doesnt support dsm injectors and where you said because of testing 1 injector that wouldnt work because a resistance issue.

Since i couldnt find your post i found this 1 that was rather interesting...Dont call hondata on this issue. I delt with them along time ago, i talked to doug and he said they were fine. Now just a month back i had a problem wih the chip being bad and the tech guy at hondata told me that it was the dsm injectors and that you cant use them with hondata. I asked to speak to his boss or doug and none of them were around. I hope they fired his ass! He told me i did not know what i was doing and those injectors would never work, even though i had been running them with the same setup for 2 years and never had a problem and back in the day before he worked there doug had told me over the phone that they were fine to use. Dude those injectors will work fine, just make sure your resistance is correct, via resistors or what ever.turboex
