on the site it says that hondata does not support using there p28 ecu for the 00-01 accord?

why is this? :?:

not a p28 but the s300 system sorry?

* Manual transmission only.
* The stock ECU cannot be used, and must be replaced with another OBDI ECU (see below)
* 2000-2002 Accords with 3 wire idle valves will need to replace or re-wire the idle valve.
* 2000-2002 Accords will no longer have a functional temp gauge.
* Using a Hondata system on a 2000-2002 Accord as done at the user's discretion is not supported by Hondata.[/b]

Read the 2 lines above that. You can use it, but you will not have a temp gauge and you will have to modify the idle controller. This is not something we offer support on.

ok sorry i mis read it but since i have you here would you know the best ecu for me to use on a 00 Honda accord with the f23a1 motor? no one will help me if i can find out what i need i will definitely be buying a s300
