jdm turbo ep3 type r in need of a vtc calibration

Post by mivec24 »

The dyno we used is down and i have not a clue about vtc tuning. Can you provide a stock jdm vtc calibration and any boosted ones. I cant use the a3 since i know cam profiles would be different. Really in need of assistance.

No i dont actually why should i have a walbro pump in the tank was told that even if i put in pump the k20 fuel pressure controller still doesn;t let you go over a certain psi.

doesnt matter the psi , its volume buddy. you cant run a boosted car with 750's without a better pump bro , your asking for trouble.

How do you install a walbro pump in these cars i heard you have to do alot of interesting stuff to get it to fit. Would you have installation notes.

you need to mount the walbro in the sending unit where the stock pump was. split the unit in half. take out the old pump. eliminate the stock crinkle hose from the pump to the top outlet. leave the rest.

remove the stock pump from its holder inside the sending unit , 2 halfs snap/pull apart. reuse the bottom half with the filter bag. the top half is a cap that fits on the pump with a plastic fitting and O ring that goes over the outlet. youl have to cut all that off , so it still holds the pump like stock but has nothing in the way of the pumps outlet. its hard to push the 2 halfs back onto the walbro , get it together as far as you can , doesnt have to snap fully back together.

the holder has 4 suspension tabs one on each corner that hold the pump in the unit and allow movement. these will not quite line up like stock , but you can still get all 4 in thier places. make sure pump is plugged in. once you get it in place , youl see where you have to cut the plastic of bottom half of the sending unit for a rubber line to leave the pumps outlet. once you have enough of a hole for this , clamp your rubber line to the pump and snap the 2 halfs of the sending unit back together.

run said rubber line to the feed outlet on the top of the sending unit where the stock crinkle hose was , clamp it , and your done.
