Hi all i am new to hondata i have a kpro and heatshield installed in my Integra DC5 got this not too long ago. I am getting some knock in my engine around 6th gear at 3k rpm and the very odd time in other gears e.g 4th around 7750. I am wondering how important is it not to have knock? as after the last month i have no money to get a rolling road and tuner to have a look. Will i be ok driving along with this map on my car?
Thanks

You may want to look at the training videos at: http://www.hondata.com/techk-protraining.html

Hey thanks for that i will have a look at them videos when i get home from work later, see if i can figure it out!! Wow That would be great :D but i dont have a log for my car at the moment so i could do that later after work today also. Try record the knocks and stuff. So im guessing my original question about how important it is not to have knock. It is quite important.
Hey again i just did a datalog there and there was no knocking typical. i will upload it anyway just if you want to have a look and tell me if it is safe enough to run on. I will have to go through them videos a few more times just to understand it properly
Thanks

I was thinking there i only get engine knock the odd time, and as the video says i got it during the hot days going up hill. So im thinking the winter is coming now and them knocks will probably disapeer as the weather gets colder. and better having a small knock count rather than having too little ignition?
