Flashpro calibration Datalogs Updated!

Post by JEA86 »

Hey whats going on people of Hondata?

my mods are as follows! (well engine mods)

Engine:

Hondata Flash-Pro
Strup Race Header- Modified Collector to 60MM
60 MM Magnaflow High Flow Catalytic Converter
60 MMApex-i WS2 Exhaust System
P2R Throttle Body Spacer Polished
P2R Throttle Body Gasket
P2R Intake Manifold Gasket
JEA "Customizd" IceBox with K&N Filter
Honda CR-V Intake Tube
Attached Cold Air Scoop in foglight Housing
NST Pulley Kit (graffite Grey)
Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser
Buddy Club Ground System

now the thing is My buddy on 8thcivic.com has VERY similar mods but the only difference is he is using a stock airbox with a cone filter inside he where as i am using a flat panel filter, also he has 2 openings where as i only have one for air to get into.

Now my question is from idle to about 4500 RPM it runs like a beast, as soon as it hits 4600 RPM's my A/F ratios Drop to high 10's low 11's untill about 5600 RPM's and then after that the a/f ratios go back to normal and it pulls VERY strongly again.

So my question is what do you all think that the problem could possibly be.

BTW my car is a 2008 Civic si

Are you using AFM or MAP based calibrations?

This is just me talking here, Hondata are the experts, but it looks like you could do -2 in columns 8 & 9 from 7000RPM to 8000RPM. I know the range is 12.5 to 13.3 for WOT, but I try to lean it towards 12.7-13.0 for all WOT settings. I'm still tweaking mine right now too though. Did six runs today and have everything looking very nice, but still want to fine tune it a bit. I've got ZERO knock by keeping WOT around 12.8 - 13.0 as much as I can. 298 feet above sea level here though.

You use too many exclamation points! Periods do quite well on their own! When you use an exclamation point, you need to realize it means you're yelling or very excited!!

I'm looking forward to seeing your new #'s with a CAI though. I *might* order one myself to get my AFR's more consistent and to get better performance.
