aight my question is do you have to hook up both datalogging from interface box and romulator to view and change realtime data??? or does the romulator take responsibility for both when you are doing on the fly tuning? i only have one serial port on my laptop and am not sure if i have to have 2 (one for datalogging and the other for romulator) to tune.
please inform me of the proper procedure for connecting to do on the fly tuning. thank you
having problems using romulator

well actualy im using a sony vaio pcg-xg38. it didnt come the the 9 pin serial so i got the keyspan (2 extra usb, serial, and printer combo). i figured this would be all i needed but obviously i need another serial for the datalogging. any suggestions on how i can run another serial for datalogging?
dual serial i/o pc card...adds two highspeed serial ports. i use the one by Socket and it is waaaaaay better than usb. it works with either type II or III pc card slots. the ports can be assigned permanent names so i just leave the card hooked up to my hondata setup and every time i boot the connection is right on. it was about $200 but well worth the reduction in frustration.
