Injector trim possible someday?

Post by fox30 »

Too bad there wasn't an injector trim table in romeditor, like the Haltech ECU setup has.
Cylinder #4 on all the B18's, I've worked on at least, seem to burn hotter than cylinders 3, 2 and 1. I will tune to 14.7 and no matter what, cylinder 4 sparkplugs are always a bit whiter in color indicating leaner than the other 3. I have seen many D16 and B18 motors damaged by detonation with the #4 cylinder showing the hottest damage.
if we could tune on per cylinder table temps that would be even more perfect rather than average out all 4.
I know Haltech does it, just would like to see Hondata add it!
Injector trim would be nice to add to romeditor if its possible.

cyl 4 is definately the weak one for tuning on both b and d series. over half of all engine damage we've seen is in cyl 4. trim is such an advanced feature i believe most ppl are better off tuning with cyl 4 as yardstick (good place to watch egt unless running single fogger dry n20).
