10600 rpm for 10th second. Missed shift

It runs fine with no noise and I reved it to 8200-8300 a few times and everythings seems to be fine.What kind of damage do you think could have been done? I feel no diference however I have only driven 15 or 20 min since the incident. I have the datalog if needed.

Show me the datalog... just out of curiosity.

However if it runs fine, it's probably fine. I did hear of someone rev'ing it that high and then it breaking down several miles later to do latent damage.

I am having a problem uploading the datalog. I am driving to indy today for the gp race so I will try agian tonight. I would love for someone from Hondata to give me some advice.The trip to Indy is an 8 hour drive so I guess I will hope for the best.

You may have been lucky. Do a leak down and check that no valves have been bent.

On our race SI, in 2007 the driver miss shift in a regional race

on the AIM dashlogger we saw 10700 rpm without any damage

but, when you rev so high, a lot of stress is aplied to springs, retainers, valves, and cams

so when replace all those parts and the bearings
