I want to do a mini-me. So I'll need the ecu of a EX. but when i've called to the scrap yard the guy asked me the code... I said P28 but there is some other character after... He asks me if it was A01 or A51.... He says that it makes difference between man and auto trans. So wich one will I need to complete my swap.
It's all possible!

As long as you get an OBD-1 P28 it will be plug and play. With the last three digits of the code being AX1, if the X is a 5 it's an ECU for a vehicle with an automatic transmission. If the X is anything but a 5, the ECU is for vehicles with manual transmissions. If you do end up getting an auto ECU, it can be converted to a manual ECU by simply moving one jumper wire on the board.
