b20 vtec 13.5:1 compression..."a little help needed&quo

Post by ejB18c »

Hello

I have just recently built a b20 vtec motor with 13.5 compression and many other supporting mods.

At the moment I am using the fuel map from my other b18c with the addition of fuel all over....

I am using the ignition maps from a jdm p30 that came out of the saved calibrations in Smanager. I was told that these ignition tables would be more safe with the compression i have

I really need someone with a similar setup who may have a map I can try out...or if anyone is willing to help me out with a map i would greatly appreciate it.

I DO NOT NEED ANYTHING SPECIAL....RACEABLE....at all!!

I just need it to be able ta drive while i break in the motor and if needed go to the foodstore....work etc...untill the dyno is ready.

My personal email is fatboybeets@hotmail.com.

Thanks guys!

okay i see that nobody has replied....

i have been donated a few maps from various people yet to be honest...i can handle the fuel tuning yet im NOT SURE AT ALL about what should be safe in regards to ignition tables on pump gas or even 100 octane.

i am going to post my maps and i hope someone can give me some insight on what is safe enough to run timing wise....

again..im not looking for someone to form or make me a map...i jus need some help in the area of timing....

thanks again...the map is attached...please rememeber i am tryin to get timing tables to a safe level for either pump gas or 100 ocatne...whatever you guys can help wioth

Looks like you need to increase the advance on your high speed ignition tables from 6,000 rpm to redline.

If you look at your high speed ignition table, you can see at 6,000 rpm to redline there is a dip in the curve.

I just got my car dyno'd and there is no dip in mine at all.
