Kpro serial: 02036
PRC ecu
Car: 88 crx k20a prc ecu
Vista with v 1.3.7
ver. 1.00

This is the first time i started my car in about a year and a half
When i connect my laptop to the ecu i get online and can get the ecu info etc, its also throwing a multiplexer code. I turn on the ignition, ignition comes on in kmanager, try and load my map ;upload failed;, if i try to clear the ecu i get 'clear security failed'.
If i try to update drivers i get 'error updating usb driver/ acces denied.

Also, if i turn on the ignition without the laptop connected, the CEL stays on and the car wont start.
If i do this with kpro connected to my laptop, on ignition the CEL comes on and goes of and i can start up the car fine with no problems at all. I just cant upload.

This sounds like you have a grounding problem of some kind. IF the car has been sitting that long there may be corrosion or perhaps wires have been chewed on and damaged.

same problem I'm having......didn't exactly word it that way.....but I got a different answer......Seems like vista might be one of the issues....I'm going to test my ecu out on another car to see if those green and red lights come on..
