Closed loop causes a/f to lean out

Post by TB123 »

I would like to run my turbo gsr in closed loop mode using the stock o2 sensor to clean up any parts of the tune that are slightly off. After my tune, I put the stock o2 back in and enabled it using s300. After I did this, the car would randomly lean out to the point where my PLX wideband would read "lean", and the car would loose power and bog. At first I figured that my stock o2 sensor was probably fouled, but I just replaced it with a brand new Denso sensor and still have the same problem. Any help/ideas would be greatly apreciated. Thanks!

I just realized that I am using the stock o2 input on the ecu for my wideband. I assume that this is my problem. I will try switching the wideband to use D10, ELD.

If I switch to D10, can I leave the voltage offset and lambda conversion tables the same as what they were set at when I was using D14? The offset is at -0.2V. Thanks

You may have to adjust the offset. The only way to find out is to try it and see.
