US 05/06 kpro for an australian 05 type s (k20z1)

Post by dr.k20z1 »

If i purchase a kpro from a US 05/06 rsx type s will it work in my Australian Honda Integra type s 2005?

im pretty positive that it will but just want to confirm that it does!

+ how do we identify that the ecu has been kpro'd just from pictures?

cheers in advance guys!

I do not believe that it will work. You should check with our Australian dealer to confirm this as I do not think the ECUs changed for the Australian market vehicles.

i have checked already, but just want to confirm.

a few 05-06 dc5 type s's have need the 05 adapter harness and the ecu to be modified for it to work..

therefore, others had still had to purchase an 02-04 PRB ecu and an 05 kpro board then converting the 02-04 to an 05 Kpro-able ecu, and then obtaining the 05-06 adapter harness and needing the 02-04 o2 sensor.

so it looks identical or if not the same steps as what the boys do over there in the states!

so yeah if anyone could confirm with me that it will it would be greatly appreciated!

thx for your prompt reply anyways!

cheers

You will have to contact our Australian dealer to verify this information. To my knowledge, no adapter harness should be needed.
