which KAL will be safe to use temporarilly?

Post by rm cya »

ive got a civic type r ep3, K20A2, im currently running a DC 4-2-1 decat Header, DC Sports Catback, AEM CAI, and KPRO (obviously  ).

im going to be fitting an RBC inlet manifold, and need a map to get me to the tuners. the only time i can fit the manifold is about 2 - 3 days before i go, so will need to be a safe map for a couple of days... wont be VTECing at all...until its mapped

thanks

The difference between the standard intake manifold and RBC is fairly minor - a standard calibration should be ok.

so the map im currently running should be ok for the RBC fo a few days? the RBC is alot bigger... has longer intake tracts etc, you not reckon it will run lean at all? obviously ill have to keep an eye on AFR,but havent fitted it yet..

thanks for the reply
