This release is mainly for the S2000/KPro users.
V1.3.7 (23 June 2009)
· Fixed access violation when downloading or closing a recording.
V1.3.6 (beta) (15 May 2009)
· Added calibration type to Parameters -> Notes.
· Fixed minimum TPS value rounding when negative.
· Change 00-05 S2000 operation so that they can run with OBDII enabled.
· Removed the requirement to edit the ini file and set DataloggingOutput to enable serial output.
· Fixed 3d graph mouse selection for ignition tables.
· Added narrowband closed loop o2 voltages.
S2000/KPro closed loop operation
We believe that this has significantly improved the o2 sensor response. Make the following changes to your calibrations:
- In Parameters, Closed Loop, check 'Closed Loop'.
- In Parameters, Closed Loop, uncheck 'Disable P0135'.
- In Parameters, Misc, check 'Enable emissions error checking'.
Additionally, we have exposed the ECU narrowband closed loop o2 sensor voltages. Normally the o2 sensor voltage will swing from approx 0.1V to approx 0.9V in closed loop. The ECU detects that the engine is 'rich' above a certain voltage (0.7V stock) and that the engine is 'lean' when the o2 sensor voltage is below a certain voltage (0.3V stock).
If all other aspects of closed loop operation are working correctly, you may try changing the threshold voltages for better closed loop operation. Make sure that the rich to lean voltage is above the o2 sensor nominal stoichiometric point (0.45V), and that the lean to rich voltage is below that point. We have found that 0.55V and 0.40V works well.
