More Newbie help

I've read through the site to try & find all my answers before I start posting. Maybe I missed this info, but my question has to do with what do I need when I consider Hondata. I currently have a stock '98 Civic EX. Is it pointless to get a Hondata if I don't have any Modifications? I still haven't decided what I am going to do with my car. I was going to start with an intake then a catback exhaust & possibly a supercharger or Turbo down the line. So is it best to wait for most modifications to be done to your ride first? Any info or link will be appreciated.

you can put the system on a stock car and maybe find a little power it would be best to at least purchase youre basic bolt ons to see the most out of everything.
