vtec set?.. s300

Post by k_boi »

Hi, quick question about vtec. How do you really know where to set vtec. I've been playing around with the vtec in many different rpm ranges and it doesnt sound or feel as great as others. Is there a way or steps I need to know to set vtec at a right time?.. Its a 2000 civic si b16a2 with bolt ons.. Thanks Brian

The best way is on the dyno so you can see where the optimal point needs to be set.

Without a dyno it will be nearly impossible to tell where the best point is.
