Not sure where to find this on the ECU... but the # under the PRB # is 2054-100626, and there is a number melted into the main plastic plug of 645211

2002 S2000 with a 2.2L motor swap

- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).
I am running an aftermarket throttle body, and no O2 sensor at all. Everything else on the car is completely stock that would affect the ECU, from wiring to motor.

I went to pull out of my parking garage the other day, and as i was driving, the car just stopped. I tried restarting it, but the starter just cranked, but the engine wasn't even trying to start. Also, there is no smell of fuel coming from the exhaust pipe. I pulled the code from the computer first with my scanner that i keep with me, and then with my computer through the KPro once i towed it to the shop.
The code coming up is "System Voltage High"... the first thing i did was to check all of the wiring to ensure that nothing had shorted or anything, and all wiring (stock harness & Hondata harness) both appear to be perfectly fine.
I also checked the Alt voltage while cranking, and it was normalish (read about 12.5 or so), so i don't think its a voltage regulator or anything... and just for good measure, i also unplugged the alt, and disconnected the belt so it wouldn't spin, and it still wouldn't start.
Also, when i clear the DTC with either the KManager or with my scan tool, if i let it sit for a few seconds with the key on, the code comes back all on its own without trying to crank the car.
I don't know anyone else around here with a Kpro'd S2000 to test this ecu in their car with, and of course i can't just plug my stock ecu back in my car to see if the problem is with the car. I'll gladly FedEx it to you guys at Hondata to test it if you can. I NEED my car running again, since i have a few VERY important races coming up, and NEED the car running again!

Ok, according to KManager, the error is:
Code: 34-2
DTC: P0563
Description: VBU Voltage High
According to my scan tool it says:
DTC: P0563
Description: System Voltage High
I attached a short datalog of me hitting the starter button (i think i did this right... lol!)... i also noticed that when i am hitting the starter, it isn't displaying rpms on the sensor window that shows all the data streaming in.

Well i personally don't feel it is the car, but if you do, then come over here nad look it over... none of the wiring is altered except for the TPS sensor for the new throttle body. Each ECU has had a different problem excpet for this ecu, whic showed the original problem, but it had been running fine for months, and then all of a sudden it goes bad pulling out of my garage?
Its nothing I'M doing, thats for damn sure.
Anyway, Doug emailed me some things to check out, and i will be doing so on Monday when i get back into the shop. This whole week i've been away from the shop, so nothing has gotten done unfortunately to try to figure out what the problem is.
Prior to running the KPro by the way, it has NEVER had a problem on the stock ECU... so why should wiring in a new TPS, and adding the Hondata Harness cause these issues to pop up? You tell me.... you're the pro Joe, not me.

I do appreciate you originally helping me out with my ecu problems.... i've gone out of my way to express how happy i was with your service and help during that time, and i'm still running your sticker on my car, and link on my website to try to show my thanks... but this last time i called, i could tell that you really didn't want to help anymore.... made most apparent by your lack of a return phone call.
I REALLY want to run Hondata in my car... I want to race wiht it, i want to WIN with it.... but i'm about out of options here... i just want a good running car... i'm missing races... i have a HUGE race coming up in Arkansas that i may not be able to make it to if i can't figure this out!

It's great that you are now taking a negative approach towards me, as I have done nothing but try to help you, by repeatedly testing the ecu's that you have damaged in my own customer cars. We can temporarily ignore that you think everyone is out to screw you. Let's be realistic here, what are the chances of two BRAND NEW PRB ecu's being damaged once shipped from Hondata, and another NEW one failing months later?
On that note, how do you think that Hondata ended up with your phone number to call you about this? I gladly gave it to them, after your post on this forum in hopes that your issues would be resolved.
