Help trying to figure what kind of ECU

Post by nicolo69 »

Sorry for the writing.
I´m in Mexico, I just recently bougth a Mexican ´99 Civic SIR B16A2 Big Turbo.
The car has a hondata ECU (at least has the labels of it). I´m trying to do a datalog, but not shure what kind of version is (s100, s200, s300).
The ECU has a cable to serial(DB9) coming from a small hole drill on the top cover.

Any help?
What kind of software can I use to do datalogin?

open the ecu and post a picture of the inside. It sounds like all you have is an ECU and no Hondata system.

Sorry for the delay, after reading a lot, I just want to be sure.
My deduction is not a Hondata, Just a chiped P28 whit a OBD2B harness.
Mi question is, it is posible to put a s300 on this ECU?
Thanks

It looks like a Hondata OBDII ECU. A s300 should work ok.
