O2 problem

Post by wease1977 »

Hi guys i have an 04 Honda Integra, My model is the USA RSX base. I change my ECU from a PRB to PRC Kpro when I boosted.

When I intsalled it I got a O2 malfunction straight away Followed by CEL, after discussing this with some pals on CRSX they said replace the O2 sensor as it has gone bad. My question is before I buy a new one would I now purchase a Base O2 sensor or the type S ?. If I have to buy the type S O2 sensor will it plug straight into the harness that I have?, If not will I have to change any thing.

I have seen a guy selling them on Ebay who claims that we would need to buy the Type S sensor as that is the one that works correctly with that ECU.

Again as always thanks in advance....... Another neewbie starting out. lol

I would not order from Ebay as that seller has a bad reputation.

You may also have a vehicle that did not use a wideband O2 sensor. Please take a picture of the inside of the STOCK ecu from your car and post it here.
