Would these ECUs work?

Post by Andros »

Hey guys,

I just got this 2 ECUs from a friend which he got collecting dust. He said that both were "tuned" but I opened them and didn't see any type of chip soldered on them so I'm guessing they are stock.

Would any of these work with an s300?

Thanks!

The first picture is an OBD2 ecu and cannot be used. The second ecu (P08) can be used, but only with an s300j. The s300 will not fit in a JDM ecu.

Cool, but is the P08 already socketed or is it stock?

The P08 has been socketed.

The P08 is socketed, and it's an Automatic ECU

it doesn't matter either way

But it'll work on a MT car, right?
