wastegate boost only. no influence from pwm.

Post by boostedcivicsir »

little history. got the s300 second hand. everything works well off of the gate. had it tuned, for some reason, i guess it had a bad solder joint on the board because the solenoid was 100% so it was getting a constant ground.

tuned a car fine with another ecu while he sent another ecu to have hondata setup for s300 and boost.

installed that ecu today, and still no influence from the pwm. 12v from the yellow and black wires, and off of the battery (i need to check one more time for mysef) and my race car's s300. if you de pin a11 and ground the valve clicks.

my question is, if the plumbing is good, there is 12v, and 2 ecu's are same way it can only be the valve correct? i dont have a datalog but while driving i see duty on my display but no increase in boost. when it was tuned the pressure vs duty was setup.

with all that checked it can only really be the valve correct?

attached is the cal to make sure im not overlooking something stupid.

thanks in advance.

for what it is worth, the owner was messing with it, and on 80% fixed it makes 10 psi on a .4 bar spring. so either that valve is bad or there is a huge leak.

What solenoid is being used?

The low cam ignition map is messed up as it goes from idling at 30 degrees then drops to 10 degrees.

You also have not provided a datalog showing the problem.
