the car was running perfect for 1 year, wnt to the dyno fine no issues, next day went to start and that's when all this things start to happen.i even install the factory map sensor with the factory settings and still reading like 8 to 9 psi at idle and 15psi when cranking, not only that when the engine rich over 175f and i turn the engine off won't start i have to trow some carb cleaner to the trottle body and the engine start running fine and then start to misfire.is wierd the car was running just perfect for so long and strt to do all this things.evrething strtt when i remove the wire from the alternator to the fuse box and install the wire in the pos side in the batt for the kill switch.i realy don't think that's the problem beacause i reinstall evrithing the way it was.the veh is a 95 civic coupe and the engine harness i a 98 gsr the wires colors in the map sensor connector are green/white,yellow/red,red/green.i call hondata and they said install factory map sensor wih the factory settings if the car still doing the same thing is harness issue.in the low cam table you can see the reading in -17 to -19 at idle but when you go and check the desplay or sensors reading the map is at 8.5 psi.the car have a 3.5 aem map sensor regulated to 35psiby eboost2 boost controler..any help will be apreciated.,...crucian wrote:Map sensor wiring not correct. Post what year car you have and the color of your wiring harness so that we can make sure that it's wired right.
