well guys here is my problem.... I bought my friend's complete engine and turbo kit. Only thing that I didnt get was his rc 1000 injectors and jg intake as well as his s200.he sold them before I bought the rest. I have a AEBS intake,s300 and precision 780 injectors. Im using the new design FJO driver and he was using the old fjo driver. Well I sent my s300 to have the pwm controls installed for the external boost controler and I also sent my friends s200 chip he had tuned for this setup. I had them make a calibration for the s300. well I put it in the car and the car hates it. wont run at all. I can load another file from the list in s300 and it runs, not right but runs. Im not sure what to do at this point other then buy s200. I cant afford to go get tuned from scratch right now. I still have a 4b hondata from back in the day, does anyone know if the s200 chips will work in the 4b...
thanks for any help
ok now I have it running much better but not just right.. I imported the s200 straight to my s300 from my burn1 chip reader. now its running and is drivable but its still not just right since its tuned for 1000cc injectors and I have 780.
s200 tune in s300 = not working=is working better now!!!

No, a s200 calibration will not work with a stage 4 system. If it start with a different calibration in the s300 then it is just a tuning issue. You will need to get it tuned or you risk damaging the engine. You cannot expect to run safely on a basemap the base map is meant as a starting point for tuning somethign to allow you to get the car to a tuner.
I understand it is just a tuning issue for sure...my buddy had the s200 tuned so I was just gonna import his s200 tune into my s300 to save me the huge tuning fee. Im not planning on running the car on a base map. I spent way to much $$ on the engine to risk damage to it...thanksSpunkster wrote:No, a s200 calibration will not work with a stage 4 system. I understand that also. but the way things are right now the tuner would just want to start all over. If I can get the car running decent enough to drive it to him I will only have to pay for a touch up not a complete tune.Martian wrote:you'd still have to retune because of the difference in injectors. Simply changing the fuel trim doesn't make the tune good.
